The annual budget for FY 2022-2023 for the City of Marion ABC Board has been prepared in accordance with the Alcoholic Beverage Control Laws and Rules of North Carolina 18B-702.
Highlights of the budget include an anticipated increase of 2% in retail sales from the previous year. We look forward to adding delivery service weekly for our mixed beverage customers and have budgeted for this service. We will continue to provide only the highest standard of customer service by our outstanding employees (7 full time & 7 part time). We intend to increase our employees’ wages substantially in order to get our salaries to a competitive level. One of our main objectives is to hire and retain the best workforce possible. In order to do that we feel we have to adjust our pay scale accordingly. We will work hard to make both our stores the best they can be.
This document outlines the ways that we will spend revenue to accomplish these goals and provide profits to be returned to our local community benefitting our city, county, law enforcement and alcohol education programs.
